Articulations from the Extroverted Introvert

My very own blog…

Yes, it is true.  Xanga is a thing of the past, I have given up on Myspace…(though not to the point where I will no longer use it) and Facebook just was not meant for blogs. How did I end up finding this nifty little site? It all started with someone at my church and quickly branched out to different friends and acquaintances of mine until I fell under the incredible force called peer pressure.

I feel as though I should introduce and explain myself.  My name is Samantha and since I was a child my mother has called me “Saman-sa.” No one, and I repeat, NO ONE else may ever call me this as it is just one of those names reserved for only your mother to call you. It started when my sister had some sort of speech disability and couldn’t quite handle pronouncing my name. So, now you know where the samansa comes from, if by chance you were to notice the url.

Now, as for the “articulations from the extroverted introvert” headline- this one may be confusing at first, that or you will just think I am plain crazy. Oh well, I can probably handle that. The word articulations of course means “the act of vocal expression” (yes I did look it up to give you the best possible definition there, aren’t you lucky) and then those who know me view me as an extroverted person. This is true, I can be very extroverted and share many of my opinions. What many people cannot or fail to see are my introvert tendencies, particularly about things that REALLY matter to me. The question is…which one was I first? If you can’t figure it out, don’t worry. It is highly rare for anyone to pick up on this. So why am I telling you this now? Because I am an extrovert in that way. Am I going to tell you what I keep to myself or share about my real feelings consisting of, well, most everything important to me? Most certainly not. See where some of the introvertedness comes in here? If not, you can just assume that I am crazy and forget about this whole paragraph.

Other than that, I have yet to truly begin this new endeavor, and you must forgive me for all future mistakes. Honestly, if no one reads this it makes no difference to me. Sometimes it is just nice to write it all out. However, I am sure I will write another blog or two very shortly for a few reasons: 1. To see all of the things that I can do with this blog and try to figure out how it works 2.That I don’t look like a complete loser if on the odd occasion someone does happen to look my way 3. Lots of things happened today and in the last week, which I feel like blogging about.
